Annie Award for "Best Animated Film"
While the Annie Award has recognized outstanding contributors to the field of Animation since the early 1970s, beginning in 1992 an award for best animated feature was added.
Other than the surprising "Cats Don’t Dance," which beat "Hercules" and "Space Jam," the list has naturally been dominated first by Disney’s Renaissance films of the 1990s (5 wins, none since 1998) and then by Pixar films (5 wins).
